Deployable
Bring power generation to your site in as little as 9 months, whether you need behind-the-meter, off-grid or bridge power. Flexible fuel options help you plan around local availability, infrastructure and project timelines.
Modular onsite power systems that convert abundant, carbon-free ammonia into electricity, designed to provide firm, flexible power for behind-the-meter and off-grid applications.

Benefits
When grid capacity or connection delays limit your plans, AMMDrive™ gives you another route to onsite power. Its modular design combines ammonia conversion, generation and controls to support the way your business operates and grows.
Bring power generation to your site in as little as 9 months, whether you need behind-the-meter, off-grid or bridge power. Flexible fuel options help you plan around local availability, infrastructure and project timelines.
Support continuous operations and changing power demands with firm onsite generation, operating independently or alongside renewables and storage.
Start with the capacity you need and add modules as demand grows. Modular configurations allow you to adapt your power supply as your business evolves, subject to site and engineering requirements.

Your project needs more than a power system. We’ll help you identify how fuel, site infrastructure and electrical integration fit together, so you can plan the next step with a clearer view of scope and responsibilities.
Make the most of your site
Match the configuration to the space you have, with access for fuel delivery, installation and maintenance.
Choose a workable fuel pathway
Evaluate ammonia supply and storage alongside natural gas options, so your fuel strategy reflects local availability, economics and transition plans.
Fit your electrical architecture
Define how onsite generation will work with your switchgear, controls, storage and other energy resources.
Know what happens next
Establish the installation and commissioning scope, project dependencies and responsibilities across Amogy, your team and delivery partners.
Power solutions
Whether you’re adding capacity, protecting production or powering a remote site, start with the operating need that matters to you.

Build a path to capacity when grid constraints threaten your development schedule.

Support production and expansion with firm onsite generation.

Bring generation to operations beyond reliable grid access.

Add modular generation near demand as local capacity requirements grow.
Technology
AMMDrive™ combines Amogy’s ammonia reformer with power-generation equipment and controls. The reformer produces hydrogen-rich fuel; the generator converts that fuel into electricity for your operation.
Liquid ammonia is supplied from a storage tank to the reformer.
Amogy’s catalyst splits ammonia into hydrogen and nitrogen, producing a hydrogen-rich gas known as reformate.
In the engine-based configuration, hydrogen reformate fuels an engine-generator to produce electricity. Other configurations use a fuel cell, with gas treatment matched to its requirements.

Prepare for deployment
Amogy works with your team and project partners to plan for safe operation, maintenance and ongoing support. From site requirements to operator readiness, we help identify what needs to be in place before deployment.
Amogy helps define the ammonia-handling procedures, training needs and site safety controls required for your operation, working alongside your technical and safety specialists.
We help establish maintenance requirements, service access and spare-parts planning so your team understands what to expect before commissioning.
Amogy works with you and your project partners to clarify service responsibilities, support arrangements and how technical assistance will be provided once the system is operating.
An AMMDrive™ Power System includes the ammonia conversion unit, power generation module and system controls, all supplied by Amogy. Fuel storage and handling infrastructure, site preparation, electrical interconnection and other balance-of-plant equipment fall outside Amogy’s supply and are provided by the customer or their EPC contractor.
Engine-based configurations offer ammonia-derived fuel and natural gas options. The configuration and fuel-transition plan depend on your site, fuel availability and operating requirements. Natural gas operation is not carbon-free.
AMMDrive™ Power Systems are built from modules that can be combined to scale beyond 100 MW. Contact our team for a configuration matched to your load profile and site conditions.
Yes. The modular architecture supports phased additions, subject to the site, fuel infrastructure and engineering requirements.
Backup power suitability depends on startup time, transfer requirements, redundancy and the wider electrical architecture. We’ll assess these alongside any UPS or energy storage systems your operation requires.
