The CleanTech Breakthrough Awards recognize companies, products, and services that are driving innovation and making significant contributions to the clean technology industry. The program was designed to honor and recognize the “breakthrough” achievements and innovations in the international Clean Technology industry.

Founded in 2020, Amogy’s innovation converts ammonia into a fuel to provide carbon-free power across industries. The company’s ammonia-to-electrical power system utilizes a chemical catalyst to “crack” ammonia into hydrogen and nitrogen. The hydrogen is then used in a fuel cell to generate power, while the nitrogen is safely released into the atmosphere. This process operates at a lower temperature and with higher efficiency than other methods.
